Darrin Rose - Family Pains
Darrin Rose is an award-winning Canadian comedian who was twice nominated as the Best Stand-Up in the country. He performs around the world, including the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, the Comedy Store in London, and the National Arts Centre in Ottawa. He has appeared in almost 300 episodes of television, on HBOmax, Netflix, the BBC, NBC, CBS, the Comedy Network, and the CBC.
His show Family Pains is about love, romance, and how family is the worst - and best - thing that can happen to you. He tells hilarious, hurtful stories, and loves to involve the audience. The show is clean, or at least clean enough to be on TV.
His Edinburgh Fringe Festival show received four stars in The Scotsman, and he has played the prestigious Montreal Just For Laughs Festival eight times. He has written and developed shows for Sony, Disney, CBS and the CBC. He was called “Hilarious!” by TV Guide, “impeccable” by Toronto’s Globe & Mail, and GQ magazine called him “one of the hottest comics in Canada.”
